Texts from Remuto.
One program of transactional texts about your stays, your sign-in, your tenancy and, for pros, your jobs. No marketing, ever.
The program
Remuto sends from +1 (323) 973-2563. Every message is transactional — it exists because of a booking, a sign-in, a tenancy, a listing or a job you are part of. There are no promotions, no newsletters and no marketing. Every kind of message has its own opt-in, shown below with the screen it happens on.
| Message | Who gets it | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Stay updates | A guest who ticked “Text me trip updates” when booking a stay | About four per stay |
| Host date suggestions | A guest who ticked “Text me replies about this request” when asking to book | One per suggestion |
| Rent reminders and lease updates | A tenant who ticked “Text me rent reminders and lease updates” when confirming their lease | Usually one per rent period |
| Sign-in codes | Anyone who enters their number to sign in and asks for a code | One per request |
| Location-check links | A host who taps “Text me the link”, to their own phone | One per request |
| Job texts to pros | A cleaner or repair pro who ticked “Remuto may text and call me about jobs” on Join Remuto Pros | Per job: the offer, a reminder the night before and the morning of, and their replies |
Every text starts “Remuto:” and ends “Reply STOP to opt out.” Every checkbox is optional and unchecked until you tick it, and none is needed to book, sign or use Remuto. Remuto keeps each consent with the time, the booking or tenancy it is for, and the exact words you agreed to. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Stay updates
How you opt in
When you book a stay — on go.remuto.app or in the Remuto app — there is an optional checkbox under the phone field:
Text me trip updates (check-in, Stay Guide, checkout). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

What they say
About four per stay, each carrying only a link to your Stay Guide:
| When | What it says |
|---|---|
| Your booking is confirmed | Remuto: Your stay at {address} is confirmed. Your Stay Guide: {link} Reply STOP to opt out. |
| 2 days before check-in | Remuto: Your Stay Guide for {city} is ready: {link} Reply STOP to opt out. |
| Check-in day, 9 AM | Remuto: Check-in today after {time}. Your door code is in your guide: {link} Reply STOP to opt out. |
| Checkout day, 8 AM | Remuto: Checkout by {time} today. Your guide: {link} Reply STOP to opt out. |
Stay updates go only between 8 AM and 9 PM in the stay's own time zone; anything due outside those hours waits until 8 AM. A text never contains a door code, a shopping link or an advertisement.
Other texts from this number
Host date suggestions
When you ask to book or contact a listing, the second optional checkbox on the same screens above says:
Text me replies about this request, like new dates from the host. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
If you tick it and the host offers other dates, Remuto texts you the dates and a link to book them. No tick, no text — the offer still reaches your Remuto inbox and email.
Rent reminders and lease updates
When a tenant confirms their lease — on the signing page they're sent, or on their own screen when signing in person on the landlord's phone — there is an optional mobile number and checkbox:
Text me rent reminders and lease updates. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

A number the landlord typed is offered for the tenant to confirm, never assumed. No tick, no rent texts — reminders still come by email.
Sign-in codes
You enter your mobile number to sign in on go.remuto.app and tap Send me a code. The screen says: “If you enter a mobile number, we text you a one-time sign-in code. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.” Remuto texts the code once. The app doesn't send sign-in codes.

Location-check links
A host taps Text me the link on go.remuto.app to confirm they're at their property. The screen says: “Text me the link sends one text to the phone on your account. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.” Remuto texts that one link to the host's own phone. The app checks the location on the phone itself and texts nothing.

Job texts to pros
How a pro opts in
Independent cleaners and repair pros sign up on Join Remuto Pros (go.remuto.app/pros/join), in English or Español, with their own mobile number. An optional box, unticked until they tick it, reads:
Remuto may text and call me about jobs, including automated calls from Ava. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop.
Remuto puede enviarme mensajes de texto y llamarme sobre trabajos, incluidas llamadas automáticas de Ava. Pueden aplicarse tarifas de mensajes y datos. Responda STOP para cancelar.
Without the tick, the pro is saved as email-only and is never texted or called. A pro who calls Remuto first can also agree on that call, and the answer is kept word for word. Remuto keeps each consent with the time, the IP address, the wording's version and the language.

What they say
In the pro's language, English or Spanish:
| When | What it says |
|---|---|
| After signing up | Remuto: Rosa, welcome to Remuto Pros. Job texts come to this number with the city, the job and a suggested price, which isn't final. The owner pays you directly; Remuto never charges you. Responda 2 para español. Reply STOP to opt out. |
| A job | Remuto: Turnover clean in Glendale 91205, Sat Nov 8 11 AM–3 PM. The next guest checks in at 4 PM, so be done by 3 PM. Suggested price $195, not final. Reply 1 to accept, PASS if you can't, or text your own price. Reply STOP to opt out. |
| The night before | Remuto: Tomorrow: Turnover clean in Glendale, 11 AM–3 PM. Reply YES to confirm, or tell us now if you can't come. Reply STOP to opt out. |
| After the job | Remuto: Did you finish the clogged toilet in Burbank? Reply DONE with photos, or tell us what's left. Reply STOP to opt out. |
A job text gives the city, never the street, until the pro has the job. It never carries a door code or a guest's or tenant's name. Pros answer by text: 1, ON MY WAY, HERE, DONE (VOY, LLEGUÉ, LISTO in Spanish), or a price.
Stopping, starting and help
- STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE; PARAR or ALTO in Spanish) stops texts to your number. You get one confirmation and nothing further.
- START turns them back on.
- HELP replies: “Remuto stay updates. Help: remuto.app. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- You can switch stay updates off or on in You › Notifications, in the app or on go.remuto.app, or email remutoapp@gmail.com.
